Job Description: Catering Lead
Roles & Responsibilities of Catering Lead
· Be the Catering Lead for assigned events
∙ Be responsible for the successful execution of the event plan
∙ Ensure attentiveness to all event details
∙ Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other staff assigned to the event
∙ Organize materials needed for the event ( dishes, linens, buffet risers, etc..)
· Ensure the work area is ready for service with pre- and post-service checks completed
∙ Communicates with the clients in a manner that ensures a positive experience (event)
· Check Float (if any) for event, opening and closing inventory, cash out
· Encourage teamwork and professional communication
∙ Return event materials to factory and track inventory
· Ensure factory/storage areas are maintained
· Strong co-ordination with kitchen/transport/service team
· Manage event logistics, including setup, teardown, and equipment rental
· Provide on-site event management and support to ensure the event runs smoothly and is executed flawlessly
· Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement
· Upholding high hygiene standards
· Ensuring compliance with health and safety
