Job Description: Catering Lead

 Roles & Responsibilities of Catering Lead:

  • Plan, organize and coordinate events such as conferences, meetings, weddings, and other special events. This also includes offsite events.
  • Ensure factory/storage areas for catering and event supplies are maintained; inventory done on regular basis, as well as organization.
  • Work closely with the planning team of the event; get all details for successful delegation and execution.
  • Ensure all details needed for event are organized, delegated and ready for successful execution.
  • Strong coordination with kitchen, transport, and service team.
  • Create a detailed event plan and timeline.
  • Manage event logistics; including setup, teardown, and equipment rental.
  • Provide on-site event management and support to ensure the event runs smoothly and is executed flawlessly.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the work area is ready for service with pre- and post-service checks completed.
  • Engage professionally with team member and costumers.
  • Check Float (if any) for event, opening and closing inventory, cash out.
  • Encourage teamwork and positive and effective communication.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends; upholding high hygiene standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
