Description

Housekeeping Attendant

  • Sweep, mop and wash floors;
  • Dust furniture;
  • Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries;
  • Clean and replenish coffee service and amenities;
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies;
  • Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas;
  • Clean, disinfect and polish bathroom fixtures and appliances;
  • Clean and disinfect public areas (lobby/reception/rest rooms);
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers;
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings when necessary;
  • Report maintenance issues to management;
  • Report and store lost and found items;
  • Sort laundry and operate washing machines and dryers to clean and dry bed linens, towels and other articles;
  • Treat stained and heavily soiled articles as per property guidelines;
  • Separate and fold laundered articles;
  • Mix and add detergents;
  • Store cleaned items in linen closet;
  • Maintain inventories of products, materials and amenities in stock

Other duties relevant to the position, as required
