Description
Lead the Experience
• Deliver a guest experience that rivals the best in Atlantic Canada — every interaction, every touchpoint.
• Set and uphold high service standards across main lodge, events, food accommodations, and guest areas.
• Build and maintain a culture rooted in hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail.
- Oversee offsite sales including online, NSLC and partnered establishments across Cape Breton.
Operations & Leadership
• Oversee daily operations across winery lodge, tasting bar, chalets, and events.
• Hire, train, and lead front-line and seasonal staff.
• Manage scheduling, performance, and team development.
• Work closely with ownership on growth, events, and strategic initiatives.
Sales & Events
• Drive on-site wine sales and guest experiences.
• Support coordination of weddings, corporate bookings, and private events.
• Strengthen partnerships with tourism, hospitality, and local culinary partners.
Financial & Administrative
• Manage budgets, payroll, and operational targets.
• Track and improve key metrics — service quality, sales per guest, occupancy, cost control.
• Maintain compliance and uphold safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
