Since 1973, City Print + has been a leader in the print industry in Atlantic Canada. In 2017, we expanded with the launch of our promotional products and apparel division. As the first point of contact for clients, the Print Coordinator plays a critical role in providing an exceptional first impression and seamless customer service. Reporting to the Office Manager, the Print Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to, managing all front-line communications, delivering top-tier customer service, and efficiently generating quotes and work orders for client projects. The ideal candidate ensures the organized flow of administrative tasks, from specialized document production to final handoffs, allowing our print and production teams to meet deadlines successfully.

As the Print Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:
- Generate accurate and timely quotes for customer projects using our internal system with print management software, Docket Manager.
- Efficiently create, process, and track customer work orders to ensure smooth handoffs to the print and production teams.
- Maintain organized and professional communication across all channels (phone, email, and in-person) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Pro-active outreach to clients to follow up on quote requests and repeat business.
- Be the welcoming face and voice of our shop, serving as the primary first point of contact for all in-person visitors, phone calls, and email inquiries.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, actively listening to client needs, and providing helpful guidance on our services.
- Manage the detailed production of specialized blueprints and specification books.
- Provide additional support and perform other duties as required to help the team meet product deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Office Administration diploma or certificate and/or equivalent commensurate experience is required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of previous experience in a Customer Service, Front Desk, or equivalent client-facing role is required.
- Previous experience working within a print shop, sign shop, or similar production environment is considered an asset.
- A high degree of precision in completing data entry, preparing quotes, and managing detailed documents (like blueprints and spec books).
- Experience or familiarity with basic project management principles, including timelines, managing deliverables, and coordinating between teams, is considered an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail skills is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers, colleagues, and management. Proven ability to manage ongoing client communication and relationships to always ensure professional customer service.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize conflicting deadlines, and maintain productivity without sacrificing accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills when resolving client issues, escalating concerns when necessary, and ensuring all customers leave with a positive impression.
- Proven ability to rapidly absorb and effectively utilize new information, procedures, and technology in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly adopt and master new software systems and tools. Experience with CRM systems or industry-specific software (Docket Manager) is a significant asset.
- Annual salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 (based on commensurate experience)
- Full-time, permanent position with 40 hours/week
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some flexibility provided)
- Cost-shared comprehensive benefits plan available after three months
- Two (2) weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, plus additional paid time off during Christmas break
