About the Role

As an Engineering Technologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting engineering and manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with engineers and designers to develop and implement mechanical systems and components.
• Conducting tests, analyzing data, and preparing reports to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
• Assisting in the creation of detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Supporting the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

About You

At Protocase/45Drives, we value attitude and aptitude! Here are some qualities and qualifications that would make you a great fit for this role:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in a mechanical engineering technologist role or similar.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes an asset.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Skills surrounding electromechanical design and assembly are considered an asset.

Our starting annual total compensation package, including base salary and performance incentives, ranges from $42,013 - $65,000+, depending on experience.
