HORIZON ACHIEVEMENT CENTRE
The Office Administrator supports the Executive Director, Financial Coordinator and Centre operations through administrative, financial, and customer service functions. Responsibilities include daily bookkeeping, preparing reports, maintaining databases, assisting with social media, and providing high-level administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Job Summary:
- Manage the telephone system for the Centre.
- Maintain accurate payable and receivable accounts.
- Custodian of cash floats.
- Maintain client payroll records on Excel.
- Performs general office administration duties as assigned.
- Administrative Assistant to Executive Director.
- Maintain in depth knowledge of all working software.
- Maintains communication as required with internal/external contacts.
- General fundraising & grant tasks, as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications:
Qualifications
- Post Secondary Business
Course
- Extensive Knowledge
of Microsoft Office
365
- Working knowledge of graphic design,
web pages and social media
- Excellent organizational, research and report
writing skills
- Working knowledge of accounting procedures and QuickBooks desktop software.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to take a leadership role on projects
- Excellent organizational skills with a strict adherence to deadlines
