Unama’ki – Cape Breton, NS – The Cape Breton Partnership has
opened its annual call for applications to join its Board of Directors for the
2025–2026 term.
As the region’s private sector-led
economic development organization, the Cape Breton Partnership plays a vital
role in bringing together business and community leaders to drive growth,
foster collaboration, and support long-term prosperity across Unama’ki – Cape
Breton. The organization is now seeking nominations from within its network of
Investors for leaders who offer strategic vision, deep community ties, and a
commitment to making a lasting impact.
The Board of Directors plays a
critical role in helping the organization respond to regional challenges and
seize new opportunities. Its guidance ensures the Partnership’s initiatives
remain rooted in community needs while driving meaningful, results-oriented
action.

Nominations are open until Friday,
September 12, 2025, and will be accepted exclusively from active Investors of
the Cape Breton Partnership. Successful board appointees will be announced
during the organization’s annual Investor Summit on October 23, 2025, at the
Inverary Resort on Baddeck Bay. Elected Board Members will serve a minimum
three-year term, contributing their expertise to guide the Partnership’s
priorities and programs.
