The Island Community Justice Society is a charitable organization that provides Restorative Justice programming for the Dept. of Justice. Restorative Justice is a relationally focused approach to addressing the harm caused to individuals and community through crime. It relies on a collaborative and holistic
methods to inspire reparative outcomes. It also aims to address the root causes of a person's participation in the cycle of harm. ICJS is seeking volunteers who can participate insightfully, and compassionately, in the restorative process. 

Requirements

Must be 19 years of age or older.

Criminal record check and child abuse registry check is required.

No experience is required, though an interview process will take place to ensure the candidate is a positive fit to work within our principled approach.
