MacLeod Port Hawkesbury is centrally-located on extensive landscaped grounds and is near all services and amenities in Port Hawkesbury. MacLeod Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home is a 66-bed MacLeod Cares home in Nova Scotia offering a mix of Residential Care Facility and Nursing Care beds and part of Macleod Group Health Services LTD (MGHSL).

Registered Nurses are an integral part of the health care team that provide residents with medical oversight as a result of physician direction. Registered Nurses are responsible to co-ordinate all aspects of a residents care plan to ensure that needs are met as defined in the care goals.


In this leadership role, you will work within a team of highly skilled professionals who together, provide exceptional medical and compassionate care for our residents. Requirements

Are you:

  • A Nurse with a registered license with the Province of Nova Scotia (Bachelor of Science in Nursing required)
  • A demonstrated leader who has excellent communication skills
  • A new or recent grad
  • Or have previous nursing experience?
