Anchored Recruiting is delighted to partner with Active Approach Health & Wellness Centre, a leader in providing Nova Scotians with evidence-based and patient-centred healthcare, to find a full-time chiropractor to join their fully-established practice in Sydney, Nova Scotia. 

Active Approach uses a multi-disciplinary, integrative approach to healthcare delivery with an emphasis on diagnosis, treatment, and patient education that has created long-standing relationships with their patients over the past 16 years. Originally established in Halifax, Active Approach has expanded to a second location in Sydney in June 2021.  Since opening this location, they have formed an excellent referral network throughout the region and have a rapidly growing caseload with both acute and chronic pain and injuries.

The location in downtown Sydney, Cape Breton has a bright future with significant business development currently happening within the area. Cape Breton also offers a close-knit community atmosphere and beautiful landscapes, great for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Cape Breton Island is rated third on the 2022 CNN Travel Top places to visit.

Our client, Active Approach, has a unique opportunity for a Doctor of Chiropractic to join their Sydney office as a Full-time Chiropractor. This Chiropractor will be able to join a busy practice with all the supports and resources needed to thrive in their career, all while establishing a great work-life balance. Within this practice, the groundwork is laid out for you to be successful, and you will be walking into a turn-key career.
  
The successful candidate will need to possess a drive and passion for delivering evidence-informed, patient-centered care, as well as have the clinical acuity to diagnose, treat, and educate patients confidently and effectively. Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary, with the ability to demonstrate superior leadership skills amongst colleagues and administrative employees.

Training and Professional Development

  • Active Release Techniques®, Graston Techniques®, and other treatment techniques
• Mentorship to improve clinical skillset and business management knowledge
• Full training on all administrative and business systems

Full administrative support

Our administrative processes and systems ensure the clinical processes are effective and ensure patient booking efficiency. Our administrative team is dedicated to delivering an optimized patient experience and providing exceptional patient services to ensure they are valued and cared for.

Marketing

Our clinic will have full marketing support with social media, online search engine presence, as well as support with community engagement events.


What you need to succeed:

You have a passion for providing patient-centred, evidence-based care with an unwavering focus on optimizing the patient experience.
You have the desire to work amongst a collaborative group of healthcare professionals in a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care

• You can work independently, think proactively, and communicate professionally to patients, staff, and within community.
• You have an endless passion for learning and self-development
• You have a drive to create a professional reputation in the community
• You are looking to make a long-term commitment to a successful practice in Cape Breton.
• You are a practicing Doctor of Chiropractic with 1-5 years’ experience.
• You have a certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture
