Located on the beautiful shore of the Bras d’or Lakes, Dundee Resort and Golf Club offers 61 guest rooms and suites and 20 cottages, each with a one and a two-bedroom unit.  An 18-hole golf course, indoor and outdoor pool, and a lakeside recreation center with watersport equipment.

Position: Room Attendants/Laundry Attendants

The Job Responsibilities

  • Clean assigned guestrooms and cottages which includes, removal of used linens, trash and recycling. Dusting, making beds, vacuuming and mopping, cleaning bathrooms, windows & blinds, kitchens, washers and dryers.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies, re-stock linen cupboards and amenities
  • Wash, dry, and fold linens using industrial machines
  • Report any maintenance concerns and damages in guest rooms and public areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Performing other related duties and assignments as assigned

Experience/Skills

You enjoy a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for details are organized.  This position may require you to be on your feet for extended periods of time and the position requires stretching bending and lifting.  Tasks are repetitive, and some lifting is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 

Working in Hospitality

It is a very rewarding career, but positions in hospitality will require working outside the normal work week and may include working weekends and holidays. Flexibility is required as weekly schedules and regular days off may require changes due to business levels. 

Qualifications

Previous Housekeeping or laundry experience is not required but is an asset.

Hourly Rate of pay starting at

$14.25 per hour
