Description

Main Duties:

  • Take training on Hino, Cummins, Volvo & Mack applications
  • Maintenance, Repair and Inspections on all types and models of class 8 and   under vehicles including off highway.
  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot all vehicle components.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics and understand the operation of a diesel engine and gas engine.
  • Keeping a clean and safe work environment
  • Willingness to keep up to date on the changes in industry
Requirements
  • Red Seal Truck & Transport Mechanic
  • Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic
  • Valid Drivers License (air brake endorsement) (class 3 or 1 preferred)
  • Experience working on a variety of on and off highway vehicles
  • Maintenance and repair on heavy and light trucks
  • Diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting experience
  • Understanding of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic systems (hydraulic operated equipment)
  • Able to lift up to 70lbs
