Description

We are hiring volunteer tutors for September to December 2023. 

Application deadline: August 11th, 2023 (applications after the deadline will be added to a waitlist)

This is a flexible volunteering program where you will be able to set your own hours. You are only required to work 3 hours per week and can block off your schedule once you receive that many bookings. We are looking for tutors to teach children coding remotely, using our custom made coding curriculum.

All lesson plans and full training will be provided; no previous experience is required.

What you will gain as a volunteer:

  • academic/industry mentorship
  • learn to code

Who can apply:

  • must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution within Canada
  • must be comfortable working with children

Ineligible Persons
- Must be a student in a post-secondary institution in Canada to apply
Requirements
  • Although experience is an asset, no coding or tech experience is required. We provide all of our volunteers with full training.
  • Must be comfortable working with children.
  • Must have access to a computer and stable internet connection.
