About the Opportunity

As the Vertical Account Manager for New Aerospace, you will be responsible for serving our customers in the emerging new aerospace industry (which includes private space, electric aviation and similar), as well as fostering new growth in this sector. As you progress in your career at Protocase, you may be challenged with tackling other vertical customer segments.

You will be responsible for developing and managing customer accounts, which means you will field inquiries via email and phone from engineers, designers and buyers, answering questions about our manufacturing capabilities. You will be instrumental in helping them understand how our fast, flexible manufacturing will help accelerate their timelines and achieve their innovation goals much faster. You will be responsible for entering client quotes and orders into our database system, coordinating with our technical team on customers’ orders before the orders move into our production facility to be manufactured, all the while keeping in contact with the customer as their order is completed.

You will achieve success by developing warm and trusting relationships with your clients, and diligently looking after their needs. This will grow your customer base, company revenue, and your income.

This is primarily an inbound role, but in order to create exponential growth in the aerospace sector (which, as a sales superstar, you will want to do!), you will also do proactive outreach, sales webinars and other tactics to connect with aerospace companies that haven’t yet discovered how Protocase will make their prototyping far easier and shorten their project timelines.

As part of this role, you will also periodically travel to various areas within North America to visit your aerospace clients.

Qualifications and Skills 

  • 2 or more years' experience in a sales/account manager role
  • Education: Completion of high school, as well as some college/CEGEP/vocational, technical training or university
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • People-driven personality, thriving in a team environment
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and the ability to learn to use new software)
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to travel (including cross-border) 2-3 times a year
  • Criminal record check and security clearance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Some flexibility in work hours is required, as your primary work hours will match business hours of your customer.

Besides a salary and performance-based bonus structure that starts ranging between $50,000 and $100,000 you will also enjoy the following benefits:
