The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care independently to patients with an established plan of care by applying nursing knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills consistent with educational preparation. The LPN assesses patient needs and provides nursing interventions within their scope of practice.
The LPN adheres to the NSCN Standards for Nursing Practice and the Code of Ethics and is responsible and accountable at all times for their own practice consistent with relevant legislation, professional, and ethical standards.
Requirements
About You

Hours and Locations
Various permanent, assignments (temporary), casual relief (no guarantee of hours), and locum opportunities available in various locations throughout Nova Scotia. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary and Incentives Licensed Practical Nurse: $28.32 - $30.42 hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance for a return of service commitment.
